The Horse in Motion

I'm really into films. Here is my attempt to watch 201 films I haven't seen before (or since high school) in 2011.

I have an ambitious list to watch the "classics," but a lot of the time we end up watching Vincent Price. My areas of expertise are silent films and Vincent Price.

  • #20 - Precious (2009)
This film is one of the most depressing I have ever seen. But I also thought it was one of the best casts I have seen in a while. I’m now so in love with Gabourey Sidibe (well, I was before). And I never in a million years thought I would say this: Mariah Carey was kinda awesome. What??????
From the film side of things, nothing really impressive visual wise or anything. I like the little interludes when Precious dreams about her life being happier, it lightens up the film a lot. It’s amazing how the film brings out an important worry that probably every human has: the fear of not being loved / alone.
